About Me

It's been a rough week for the newly launched free-to-play multiplayer open world survival game Once Human . Just a few days ago, the game had been review bombed on Steam due to its rather egregious terms of service , including the potential to collect a government-issued ID via its personal information policy. And then, just 24 hours before that, players took issue with the game only allowing one character per account and preventing server switches . Thankfully, that problem has since been fixed. But regardless, things have not been gr

Now, in another change of strategy, Starry Studio has seemingly reversed course when it comes to cosmetics. In a statement posted to Twitter , the studio outlined the upcoming changes, as well as a timeline for them to take eff

There are tons of valuable items that players can just sell to vendors in order to make a quick buck. For example, Combo Chipsets in Once Human can go for as high as 12,000 EL when sold. Here's a list of things you can sell for more Energy Links.

Another issue that sprouted up revolves around paid cosmetics. Because the game was originally intended for players to have one singular character on a single server, it had tied purchased cosmetics to that individual. But since Starry Studio has since reversed that decision, the cosmetics were still a hangup for players. After all, who wants to re-purchase a cosmetic that you already technically

During server crossover, your character will retain some skills, blueprints, and some other bits and pieces (we don’t know for sure yet, we’ll just have to wait and see). However, all other progress is lost. That huge base you built and grinded for over the course of a month and a half? It’s gone. Your resources, weapons, absolutely everything else? G

Finishing a Securement Silo takes about 10 minutes depending on how strong you are and how thoroughly you explore. Here, you can find plenty of loot boxes containing items that you can sell to vendors. You also get a few thousand Energy Links at the end of the run too. The higher the silo's level and difficulty, the more rewards you get at the end .

Human Head Studios first unveiled a brand new game set in the Rune universe in August 2017. At first, it was titled Rune: Ragnarok, but that title changed about half a year later to just Rune. The game made an appearance at E3 2018 and was actually poised to release via Steam Early Access on September 18. Unfortunately, the Early Access release was pushed back indefinitely and the developers were quiet about the game outside of beta testing since. Today, it finally resurfaced; that being said, it is now sporting the title Rune II and will be an Epic Games Store exclusive. Below, you can check out the new gameplay trailer published to

Those changes came after a publicized conversation that developer Pirate Software had with the team in which they provided comprehensive feedback to Starry. "Cosmetics currently are also per character, which feels very bad," the developer said. "I would much rather have these account-wide. Currently, I have no reason to buy a cosmetic as I would then have to rebuy it for each character I make. Why should I buy a cool hat multiple times just because I made multiple characters? Not interest

I’m speculating that Once Human will have an excellent launch on Steam - it’s a shiny new free-to-play game after all - but those numbers will start to slip after the first server wipe. And then slip some more after the next one, and so on. Once Human cheats|https://oncehumanworld.com/ Human needs to have the unbelievable sticking power of Rust to contend with its rivals. The main issue is that a six-week wipe is a lot longer than a three-week wipe. Rust is temporary, ephemeral - progress always comes and goes. But Once Human is a much longer, hard-fought slog. People will only stick around if they feel like it's worth it. And whatever else the game does well, it’s going to have to do it extremely well to keep people coming back every six we

"When we did beta testing last year, people were jumping in the game, playing the game and we got excellent feedback...We're really taking it to heart. So, one of the things we realized is that we frankly needed more time on the game...We realized we needed more runway, more financial support to finish the game. We went out and talked to a number of potential partners, there were some really interesting offers, but honestly the one that we thought was best for the game was going with Epic and being on the Epic Games St

Once Human is an always-online multiplayer open-world survival crafting game. If you’ve recoiled from that sentence and are now shaking your head in disgust, I completely understand. But bear with me. Once Human is not revolutionary in its design, but from what I’ve played so far, it takes a lot of concepts familiar to the genre and makes them better. Combat is satisfying, though it definitely needs a few tweaks when it comes to PvP balance; building is complex and gratifying; the grind for materials isn’t even that bad (with better tools, trees can drop thousands of pieces of wood at once); and the world design is downright bizarre. Take a look at these nutcrackers as an exam
